SINGAPORE \u2013 Malaysia\u2019s Firefly has again extended its cancellation of flights on the Subang-Seletar route due to haze, this time until Oct 16.<\/p>\n
The airline had earlier cancelled flights between Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang and Singapore\u2019s Seletar Airport\u00a0from Oct 10 to 12 due to the haze,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and then extended the cancellation to Oct 14<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n In a notice on its website, Firefly said the following flights were cancelled:<\/p>\n FY3122 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3124\u00a0(Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3126\u00a0(Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3128 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3130\u00a0(Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3132 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n FY3123 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3125 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3127 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3129 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3131 (Oct 15 and 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3144 (Oct 15)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FY3133 (Oct 16)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Firefly stated on its website that affected passengers will be reallocated onto available Malaysia Airlines flights from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, where possible.<\/p>\n Those who do not want replacement flights can receive a full refund, according to the website.<\/p>\n The 24-hour PSI\u00a0first breached unhealthy levels<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in 2026\u00a0due to smoke haze from Sumatra and Kalimantan on Sept 4, the National Environment Agency said.<\/p>\n On Oct 14, the PSI hit the very unhealthy range in western Singapore at 9pm with a reading of 203, a record high for 2026.<\/p>\n The one-hour PM2.5 reading also hit a new high for the year on Oct 14, with a measurement of 288 in the west at 3pm<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n SINGAPORE \u2013 Malaysia\u2019s Firefly has again extended its cancellation of flights on the Subang-Seletar route due to haze, this time until Oct 16.
