Tanjong Pagar GRC MP and Minister of State Foo Cexiang brought a dose of “Hunclemania” to WrestlePagar 2, turning the wholesome H.U.N.C.L.E programme’s healthy-uncle persona into a surprisingly suave wrestling act.<\/p>\n
In an Instagram video posted by @kicktothegut that day, Foo was seen swapping politics for wrestling as he strode into the ring at Tanjong Pagar Community Club on Saturday (Oct 10).<\/p>\n
The MP wasted little time embracing his inner grappler. After sending his opponent tumbling with an arm drag, Foo played to the crowd by peeling off an arm sleeve with a flourish and flinging it into the audience like a seasoned showman.<\/p>\n
Not content with that, he then “ran the ropes”, rebounding off them to build momentum before launching a crowd-pleasing elbow drop onto his opponent. The move earned him the tongue-in-cheek title of “MP ELBOW”, according to the post’s caption.<\/p>\n
Foo was subsequently seen celebrating his victory in the ring.<\/p>\n
The event, WrestlePagar 2, was held in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of Grapplemax Pro Wrestling.<\/p>\n
Foo had earlier promoted the event in an Instagram post on Sept 26, sharing a video featuring scenes from the WrestlePagar event in October 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n “WrestlePagar is back! Watcha gonna do when Hunclemania runs wild on you?” the caption read, referencing the H.U.N.C.L.E programme.<\/p>\n H.U.N.C.L.E, which stands for Healthy Uncles who Network, drink Coffee, Learn and Exercise, is a programme launched in 2024 for men aged 50 and above residing in the Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru division.<\/p>\n The programme encourages participants to remain physically, mentally and socially active through group exercises, health talks and community bonding activities.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n AsiaOne has contacted Foo for comment.<\/p>\n [[nid:739295]]<\/p>\n\n
