.

“We are on the road to Dandong right now, and she’s actually singing one of her songs. So I thought I would let you guys decide whether you think she sounds like her as well or not,” he explained.

Tim apparently knows the song well enough to anticipate what was coming next too.

“I think there is a big chorus in this one,” he said as he waited in anticipation.

Well, let’s just say not everyone will see the resemblance, but they’d definitely hear it. There were moments when it almost sounded like Stefanie herself was singing live.

And apparently, we’re not the only ones who hear the similarity.

“I am from Singapore. She does sound like Stephanie Sun,” wrote one netizen.

Another viewer was more convinced by the visual resemblance.

“The side view of her face look exactly like Stephanie Sun lol,” they commented.

The sweetest part of the video, however was Tim revealing that he’s been a fan of her voice for a very long time.

“Our first date was actually at a KTV, so I’ve always loved my wife singing,” he said.

After Nicole finished the chorus, the family cheered, with Tim even asking their young daughter in the back of the car whether she hoped to sing like Mummy when she grew up.

8days.sg has reached out to Tim for more information but has not received a response at press time.
