To me, a wine cooler was a wimpy drink, not a mini-fridge for storing bottles, with temperature and humidity controls. Honestly, until recently, I could not even spell oenology or viticulture without consulting a dictionary.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">But I do know a pathetic and desperate publicity scheme when I see one.<\/p>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">This summer, the people behind <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">the Michelin restaurant guides<\/span> moved into wine ratings. Instead of countries, they focus on specific wine regions, ranking estates as brands.
