Three people were caught on CCTV walking into an HDB flat under renovation and opening a cabinet by the main door, despite two contractors being inside the unit at the time.

The incident took place at about 4.50pm on Monday (Oct 5), according to CCTV footage uploaded to TikTok the following day by user gts5s5.

The one-minute-20-second video has garnered more than 13,800 views and was posted with the caption: “First post to the three clowns who trespassed onto my property and slammed my cabinet apparently thinking this was a showroom.”

The caption appears to tie in with the video’s soundtrack, The Clown Cafe, a song from a horror film.

In the footage, three people can be seen talking as they looked around the flat. A man in a black T-shirt can be seen opening the cabinet by the main door six times.

Towards the end of the video, the same man then takes several steps into the unit and appears to notice the CCTV camera, before ignoring it.

Meanwhile, two contractors can be seen in the background working on a lighting fixture and the oven in the kitchen area.

In the TikTok video, the user said he asked them to leave through the microphone but he “got completely ignored”.

The user claimed that one of the trespassers looked directly at the CCTV camera before proceeding into the living room. He also appealed to TikTok users to help identify the man in black.

The TikTok user did not disclose the location of the HDB flat.

The footage drew comments from TikTok users, including calls for the homeowner to make a police report.

“Report him for trespassing. No respect to you [the homeowner],” one user wrote.

Another commented: “Call the police and report, let the police track them.”

“Why [are] people nowadays so kaypoh [nosy]! Disgusting!” another user said.

AsiaOne has reached out to gts5s5 for more information.

[[nid:744556]]

helmy.saat@asiaone.com

Three people were caught on CCTV walking into an HDB flat under renovation and opening a cabinet by the main door, despite two contractors being…

[2611

post-90976","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-buzz-headlines","wpcat-2611-id
["GET
