As explained in our review, this is one chunky Gears of War game, and it’s non-stop action all the way through. As with any game, your mileage may vary depending on how much of a completionist you are. However, we estimate the average playthrough of the Gears of War: E-Day <\/em>campaign will take approximately 20\u201325 hours.<\/p>\n

Some players may get through it quicker, such as those on easier difficulty settings or anyone who beelines straight for the main objective during the game’s non-linear sections. Meanwhile, those who like to challenge themselves with harder difficulties and find all the collectibles will likely be at the top end of that estimate.
