Details of the store\u2019s location and opening date have not been announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Founded by <!-- -->Japanese chef Ryouta Hirako in 2022,<!-- --> I\u2019m Donut? made waves on social media for its nama (meaning<!-- --> \u201cfresh\u201d or \u201craw\u201d in Japanese<!-- -->) doughnuts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The menu features fillings such as custard, matcha and pistachio, as well as location-exclusive and seasonal flavours.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"responsive-iframe-base instagram instagram-embed\" title=\"instagram embed\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Dd1DS1eSAG2\/embed\/captioned\/?omitscript=true\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"accelerometer;falseclipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share;\" loading=\"eager\" data-testid=\"responsiveIframe\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Social media users have described the doughnuts as <!-- -->light and soft, with an almost \u201cmelt in your mouth\u201d texture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Photos and videos online show snaking queues at some outlets, with wait times of up to an hour<!-- --> and products selling out before the end of the day<!-- -->.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">I\u2019m Donut? has multiple outlets across Japan<!-- -->, including in Tokyo, Kyoto and Fukuoka<!-- -->.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The brand opened its first overseas outlet in New York\u2019s Times Square in <!-- -->April 2025<!-- -->.
