SINGAPORE \u2013 The mercury dipped to 22.7 deg C on the afternoon of Sept 30 amid heavy rain that triggered flash floods at roads in Lim Chu Kang and Woodlands.<\/p>\n
The temperature dip was recorded in Tuas South Avenue 3 at 3.50pm, according to data from the Meteorological Service Singapore\u2019s (MSS\u2019s) website.<\/p>\n
In earlier posts on X, national water agency PUB said there were flash floods at Neo Tiew Road (near Neo Tiew Harvest Link) in the Lim Chu Kang area and at Riverside Road in Woodlands.<\/p>\n
The agency earlier issued a flash flood risk alert for Riverside Road at about 3pm and for Neo Tiew Road at 3.30pm.<\/p>\n
The flash floods in both areas have since subsided, PUB said.<\/p>\n
The National Environment Agency said at around 3.30pm that heavy rain was expected over northern, western and central areas of Singapore from 3.40pm to 4.10pm.<\/p>\n
Before that, it said at 2.40pm that heavy rain was expected over those areas from 3pm to 3.45pm.<\/p>\n
