Three men and a woman were arrested after a fight broke out outside an eatery in Geylang last Wednesday (Sept 23).<\/p>\n
The incident happened outside Dongbei Jiaozi Wang along Geylang Road at around 1am, Shin Min Daily News reported.<\/p>\n
A video uploaded to YouTube channel Complaint Singapore shows four people pushing and pulling one another along a walkway, with one person appearing to be pinned to the ground.<\/p>\n
Two people in red uniforms are also seen trying to break up the fight.<\/p>\n
A restaurant employee told Shin Min that the people involved in the scuffle were not customers, adding: “I don’t know what had happened.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a grocery shop owner in the vicinity said he had closed his store at around 11pm and did not witness the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As there are several eateries and bars in the area, he noted that drunken patrons sometimes caused trouble on weekends.<\/p>\n
In response to AsiaOne’s queries, the police said they were alerted to a fight at 386 Geylang Road at about 1am on Sept 23.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Three men, aged between 30 and 42, and a 31-year-old woman were arrested for affray.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were taken to hospital conscious, police said.<\/p>\n
Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
