{"id":88579,"date":"2026-09-28T19:22:06","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T11:22:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=88579"},"modified":"2026-09-28T19:22:06","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T11:22:06","slug":"evo-singapore-2027-fighting-games-event-details","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=88579","title":{"rendered":"Evo Singapore 2027: Fighting games event details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div xmlns:default=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\">\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Evo has announced that its <b>Evolution Championship Series<\/b> is coming to Singapore for the first time, taking place from <b>15 to 17 January 2027<\/b> at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Player registrations and event tickets are now available, while Evo has also confirmed the five games forming its main tournament line-up:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_listElement_wioo3_107\">\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Street Fighter 6<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Tekken 8<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Marvel T\u014dkon: Fighting Souls<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Guilty Gear -Strive-<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Players will compete for a share of a minimum guaranteed prize pool of <b>US$125,000<\/b> across the five titles. The inclusion of Marvel T\u014dkon: Fighting Souls is particularly notable, as the four-versus-four tag-team fighter is very recent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Evo Singapore will also host the <b>Tekken World Tour 2026 Global Finals<\/b>, which carries a separate <b>US$300,000<\/b> prize pool. The group stages will begin on 14 January, a day before Evo Singapore officially opens, and continue into 15 January.
