A internal combustion engine (ICE) car caught fire at Sime Underpass near Adam Road at about 4.55pm on Saturday (Sept 26).<\/p>\n
In response to AsiaOne’s queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said its firefighters used a water jet and a hosereel to put out the fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A video of the incident shared with SG Road Vigilante and posted on its Facebook shows a Mercedes-Benz C-Class with smokes and flames coming out from the front bonnet.<\/p>\n
Flames later spread to the cabin area of the car.<\/p>\n
According to SCDF, no injuries were reported in the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The cause of the fire is under investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
