SINGAPORE \u2013 A woman who allegedly participated in six unauthorised gatherings<\/span><\/a> to show her support for the Chinese spiritual movement\u00a0falungong was on Sept 25 handed six charges under the Public Order Act.<\/p>\n Ng Chye Huay is accused of repeatedly taking part in public assemblies without permits.<\/p>\n Five of the gatherings took place at the Merlion Park between October 2024 and November 2025.<\/p>\n The 62-year-old is also accused of participating in an unauthorised assembly at the Anderson Bridge, near Merlion Park, in February 2026.<\/p>\n Her case is slated for a pre-trial conference on Oct 26.<\/p>\n In a separate case, a vice-president at non-governmental organisation Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics was charged for his alleged role in three unlawful assemblies.<\/p>\n The court heard that S.
