Microsoft just unveiled smaller devices powered by the Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, following earlier refreshes of the 13-inch Surface Pro and the 13.8-inch and 15-inch Surface laptops.<\/p>\n

The new Surface Pro 12-inch (12th edition) and Surface Laptop 13-inch (8th edition) both have a six-core Snapdragon X2 Plus processor and 25% brighter displays at 500 nits with a PixelSense touchscreen. Both also have a battery life of 15.5 hours and 22.5 hours of video playback, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year, both also get a new Black colour option, in addition to the existing Violet and Platinum.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Compared to previous generations, the new Surface Pro 12-inch and Surface Laptop 13-inch with Snapdragon X2 Plus are up to 17% faster<\/b> in Office productivity workloads, deliver more than 60% faster<\/b> graphics performance, and up to 95% faster<\/b> local AI inferencing on the NPU.<\/p>\n

There is also a new Microsoft Surface Mouse. It has a redesigned ambidextrous shape to suit both left- and right-handed users. It features a customisable action button for Copilot16 and everyday shortcuts, Bluetooth 6.0 and comes in Black and Platinum.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the design for the Surface Pro is little changed this year, it gets a new Microsoft Ink Canvas. Microsoft describes this as an AI-powered, pen-first experience for sketching, annotating, generating images and summarising text directly on the display.<\/p>\n
