The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is investigating the alleged illegal sale of raw meat at the void deck of a Sengkang block, after a resident claimed he had witnessed the activity at least three times.<\/p>\n
According to a report by Stomp, the makeshift setup was seen at Block 107 Rivervale Walk, with the resident alleging that a group would gather there on Saturday mornings.<\/p>\n
The resident, identified by Stomp as Jamiro, said frozen pork was the main item being sold and that he had seen the group even late last month.<\/p>\n
He told Stomp that the group appeared to be operating openly, with a cleaver, weighing scale and slabs of meat visible at the site.<\/p>\n
Jamiro also shared videos of his confrontation with the alleged hawkers on Aug 29.<\/p>\n
In one video, he questioned the group whether they knew that selling raw meat at the void deck was illegal.<\/p>\n
