Another vehicle, also with a damaged rear, is seen some distance away. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">A police car and an SCDF ambulance are seen at the site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Police investigations into the accident are ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/injuries-deaths-on-singapores-roads-rise-in-h1-2025-accidents-due-to-red-light-violation-also-up?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">Traffic Police\u2019s (TP) mid-year report<\/p>\n<p><\/a>, the number of accidents resulting in injuries rose from 3,437 in the first half of 2024 to 3,740 in the first six months of 2025.
