SMF and Vietcombank will brief leaders on Vietnam investment opportunities in Singapore.<\/em><\/h4>\n

The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and Vietcombank will jointly organise a half-day seminar, \u201cVietnam: Your Jewel for Business in Asia Pacific\u201d, on 28 September 2026 at the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) in Alexandra TechnoPark, Singapore. The complimentary seminar will provide business leaders with information on Vietnam\u2019s investment environment, financial solutions, policy and regulatory developments, and business experiences.<\/p>\n

The seminar will be supported by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Singapore and will feature H.E. Tran Phuoc Anh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Singapore, as Guest of Honour. H.E. Tran Phuoc Anh will deliver the Opening Address following welcome remarks by SMF President Mr. Lennon Tan.<\/p>\n

Registration will begin at 2.15pm, with the programme scheduled to start at 3.00pm. Presentations by Vietcombank and Embassy officials will cover investment, trade, policies and related opportunities, followed by a panel sharing session on business experiences of operating in Viet Nam. The programme will conclude with a networking reception from 5.00pm to 5.45pm.<\/p>\n

The seminar will focus on Vietnam as a market for business expansion and manufacturing, with attention to its population of more than 100 million, growing middle class, and increasing attractiveness for high-tech and precision manufacturing. The organisers will also highlight the recent elevation of Singapore-Vietnam relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and its relevance to businesses considering expansion into Vietnam and the wider Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n

Participants will receive information on macroeconomic developments, financing, banking and cash management solutions from Vietcombank, as well as tax policies, customs regulations and rules of origin. The programme will also include practical perspectives from companies with experience establishing and operating businesses in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The session is intended for C-suite executives and senior management from sectors including electronics and semiconductors, medtech and pharmaceuticals, healthcare, digital economy and AI, advanced manufacturing, automation, precision engineering, supply chain, logistics, aerospace, sustainable technology, food and agriculture.<\/p>\n
