Meta <\/b>has announced a new, consolidated subscription service that brings all its existing subscription plans under one roof. Called Meta One<\/b>, it\u2019s a collection of different bundle plans that come alongside the existing WhatsApp Plus, Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus plans, which Meta will continue offering.<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ll recall, this isn\u2019t the first time that Meta has mentioned Meta One. Earlier this year, as the company announced the new \u2018Plus\u2019 subscriptions for its apps, it also mentioned that Meta One would be the umbrella label under which it would bring its subscription offerings together. It seems that this is panning out, and that Meta One is targeting AI power users specifically.<\/p>\n
For individuals, the two new offerings of note are the Core <\/b>and Premium <\/b>bundles. These new plans include the existing single-product subscriptions above, but also provide access to more AI tools provided by Meta. This includes AI image and video generation by Meta\u2019s new Muse models, voice effects for Instagram videos and other tools such as Instagram\u2019s Restyle feature.<\/p>\n
Despite the inclusion of exclusive AI tools in Meta One, however, the company stated that the core features of Meta AI will still be free to use.<\/p>\n What the Personal Meta One plans offer.<\/p>\n Image: Meta<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n These are just the Personal plans, however. Meta One also includes separate plans for Creator <\/b>and Business<\/b> accounts. For both categories, the subscription is divided into four tiers: the Essential<\/b>, Advanced<\/b>, Expert <\/b>and Max <\/b>plans.\u00a0<\/p>\n All tiers across the Creator and Business plans will get access to WhatsApp Plus, Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus, as well as the same AI tools provided by the Personal plans.\u00a0<\/p>\n Where the tiers differ, however, is in how many features they offer to optimise your social media content. Depending on which tier you get, you can insert more links into your Instagram content (pages, posts and reels), get audience and competitive insights on Facebook and Instagram respectively, and utilise optimised content scheduling features on both platforms as well.<\/p>\n Subscription plans in the Business category also grant access to Meta Business Agent<\/b>, which is a WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger chatbot that can talk to customers and answer their queries around the clock.<\/p>\n These are just some of the features Meta is offering with its Meta One Creator and Business subscriptions.<\/p>\n Image: Meta<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The Creator and Business plans also offer brand protection measures. The Essential tier only gets custom web URLs, a verification badge and, for the Creator category specifically, impersonation protection.\u00a0<\/p>\n However, the higher tiers get more advanced features such as the ability to open tickets with Meta support, and for the Business category, more protected business accounts and verified channels.<\/p>\n Finally, Meta stated that this wasn\u2019t the final state of Meta One, as it the feature set the subscriptions are offering will expand to Edits and AI glasses in the future.<\/p>\n You can see the full feature set that each subscription tier offers on Meta\u2019s website here. You can subscribe to the plans now, but you can only do so via the Facebook, Instagram or Meta AI mobile apps.<\/p>\n To subscribe, head over to your Account Centre on Facebook and Instagram, or the settings menu in the Meta AI app. After that, tap subscriptions, and you should see a new button specifically for the Meta One plans.
