A tourist from Sweden<\/a> was amused when she was approached by a 15-year-old teenager who asked for her number at a hawker centre, saying that the interaction \u201cmade\u201d her 15 hours spent in Singapore.<\/p>\n Travel content creator @_khayj shared a video of the encounter on Instagram on Sept 12,<\/a> where she films herself having chicken rice at Maxwell Food Centre.<\/p>\n While having her meal, she is approached by a teenage boy, who sits down at her table and strikes up a conversation.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just for me to tell you that you are very beautiful,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n About 10 minutes later, she approaches the boy and his travel companions, asking how old they were.<\/p>\n They ask for the name of her YouTube channel, which she proceeds to share with them.<\/p>\n One of them then points to the boy who had approached her earlier, saying that he wanted her number, while the boy shakes his head in embarrassment.<\/p>\n \u201cAren\u2019t you like 15, 16?\u201d she asks, to which they nod in confirmation.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m 23,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n They then part ways as she smiles and waves goodbye.<\/p>\n \u201cThis literally made my 15 hours in Singapore<\/a>,\u201d she writes in the caption. \u201cCould I pass as a 16-year-old?\u201d<\/p>\n The post garnered over 450,000 views, 15,200 likes, and 180 comments \u2014 most of which were courtesy of amused netizens.<\/p>\n \u201cAwww he is so polite and sweet,\u201d one netizen commented, while others applauded the teenager\u2019s confidence.<\/p>\n \u201cLove the way you handled it,\u201d another chimed in.<\/p>\n Several Singaporeans also welcomed _khayj to the country<\/a> and wished her a safe journey.<\/p>\n \u201cHope you visit Singapore again!
