All that changed when I chanced upon <strong>Waterway Point Food Fair <\/strong>while on my weekend lunch run. The fair features 30 stalls selling just food, drinks or desserts, and runs till <strong>20\u00a0Sep 2026 <\/strong>from <strong>11am to 9pm daily<\/strong>. The meat was decently tender but I preferred the melty fat that disintegrated in my mouth instantaneously. The skin was also crispy and crackly. You have a choice between the <strong>Sumo <\/strong><strong><em>Bao<\/em><\/strong><strong> (S$7)<\/strong> with 3 flavours, or <strong>Mix &amp; Match<\/strong> any 3 mini buns for <strong>S$10<\/strong>. We ordered the latter and tried the <strong>Lemon Coconut Fish<\/strong>, <strong>Black Garlic Mushroom<\/strong>, and <strong>Dynamite Chicken<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">All 3 flavours were generously drizzled with sauce but our top-pick was the <em>Black Garlic Mushroom<\/em>. Savour all 4 flavours of their mini oozy cheesecake at<strong> 4 for S$13<\/strong> or <strong>6 for S$18<\/strong>. There&#8217;s <strong>Original<\/strong>, <strong>Chocolate<\/strong>, <strong><em>Taro<\/em><\/strong>, and <strong><em>Matcha<\/em><\/strong>. If the King of Fruits is your favourite, you can try the <strong>Durian Lava Cheesecake (S$4.80 for 1<\/strong>,<strong> S$17 for 4)<\/strong>, too. At Moochi, we tried the massive <strong>Strawberry Dubai Chewy <\/strong><strong><em>Mochi<\/em><\/strong><strong> (S$10)<\/strong> which was filled with Nutella cream cheese, crunchy pistachio <em>kunafa<\/em> and a whole fresh strawberry. It was coated in a paper-thin layer of stretchy, QQ <em>mochi<\/em> and dusted with chocolate powder. It&#8217;s big enough to be shared amongst 2 people.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sibling&#8217;s Gelato sells various flavours of gelato but I was more intrigued about the <strong>Dubai Chewy Cookie<\/strong> as I had heard so much about it. We ordered <strong>The OG (S$6)<\/strong> and gasped when we realised it was much smaller than expected. Nonetheless, it was pretty decent. We bought a box of <strong>Mango Sticky Rice (S$7)<\/strong> and the mangoes were excellent \u2014 sweet and firm.
