These large, often open-air complexes house numerous stalls serving local and international dishes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fck_detail\">\n<p class=\"Normal\">There are 123 markets and hawker centers in Singapore, ranked the world&#8217;s second richest country by GDP per capita in 2025 after Switzerland by the <em>Economist<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Some tourists said eating at Singapore hawker centers is exceptionally safe thanks to strict government regulations, regular inspections, and mandatory hygiene ratings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Singapore ranked fourth in Asia on
