Three Traffic Police (TP) officers are facing investigations after footage of their unsafe riding behaviour surfaced online.<\/p>\n
Dashcam footage of the incident shared with SG Road Vigilante and posted on its social media account shows the dashcam vehicle turning right onto Ubi Avenue 3 from Paya Lebar Road.<\/p>\n
A ComfortDelGro taxi is also seen making the right turn from the outer lane.<\/p>\n
Shortly after both vehicles turn into Ubi Avenue 3, two TP outriders are seen approaching from the dashcam vehicle’s left and cutting ahead of it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
They are then seen entering the Traffic Police headquarters.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Just as the dashcam vehicle nears the headquarters’ entrance, a third TP outrider appears and makes a sharp right turn.<\/p>\n
The third officer’s actions also caused the dashcam vehicle to brake.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Why he like that?” one of at least two persons in the vehicle is heard asking.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a statement issued to AsiaOne, the police confirmed that they are aware of the incident, which purportedly took place at about 3am on Sept 4.<\/p>\n
A police spokesperson said that the three officers’ actions are being investigated and appropriate action will be taken against them.<\/p>\n
“The SPF takes a serious view of road safety and expects all officers to adhere to traffic rules and exercise due care and attention,” the spokesperson added.<\/p>\n
Under the Road Traffic Act, no motorist must drive a motor vehicle on the road without due care and attention, or without reasonable consideration for other road users.<\/p>\n
