When life unspools \u2013 whether through the transition into young adulthood, a career change, or the physical and emotional journey of postpartum recovery \u2013 we learn a crucial truth: mental health is not static.<\/p>\n

It works in a fluid state, waxing and waning \u2013 sometimes fiercely, sometimes subtly \u2013 always according to the unpredictable rhythms of life.<\/p>\n

This is why mental health charity Mind HK has chosen \u201cNavigating Life\u2019s Defining Moments\u201d as the theme of its third Hong Kong international conference, which runs from November 6 to 8 at Hotel Icon in Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Medical professionals and people with personal experience of mental health struggles will gather to share research and stories.<\/p>\n

Candice Powell, Mind HK\u2019s chief executive officer, says, \u201cWe want to publicly emphasise that mental health is part of life\u2019s journey. It\u2019s not just a clinical condition, but more like a journey that we all will encounter.\u201d<\/p>\n
