The chef behind Bibim Deli brings that story into a heartland restaurant built around sotbap rice, banchan, braised fish and an open charcoal grill. 📌 Lunch sets start at $12.90 with sotbap, soup and four banchan. Dinner with sotbap and six banchan. Both include access to the free-flow banchan chiller. 📌 My test was the godeungeo jorim. The braised mackerel had no fishiness, and the savoury, slightly sweet sauce was exactly how I like it. I only wanted the bones softer, almost melting into the sauce. 📌 The tteokgalbi and salt-cured mackerel are cooked over the open charcoal grill sitting in the middle of the restaurant. 📌 Until 31 October 2026, order one main per adult and follow @sansok.sg on Instagram or Facebook. A $1++ top-up per person gets you free-flow drinks and DIY bingsu with three sauces and six toppings. The mackerel passed my fishiness test, the bones still need more time, and the price makes the whole table easy to understand. This is the most complete Korean meal I have had in Hougang at this price.
