It has been teased since the previous season ended, and despite Mega Man items being in the battle royale games, fans are patiently waiting for the skins to be added to Fortnite<\/em>. It seems that players won’t have to wait much longer, as Epic Games has now revealed the Mega Man cosmetics that will become available following a themed tournament.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fortnite<\/em> Override, also known as Chapter 7 Season 4, focuses on two themes: retro games and hacking. This has allowed Epic Games to introduce an array of beloved video game characters to Fortnite<\/em>. Mega Man was one of the first characters to be teased for this season, as a Mega Man<\/em> cartridge was inserted into the override console that spawned after the Unstable Event at the Zero Point. However, over two weeks into the season, he has yet to make an appearance.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is about to change, as a Mega Man Cup will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8, giving players the opportunity to obtain Mega Man cosmetics for free before they hit the Item Shop. The rules have not been revealed yet, but according to leakers, it is a duos tournament set in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and mobile servers.<\/p>\n Comparing the Mega Man Cup’s promotional image to previous Mega Man footage shown in the trailer, it’s likely that fans will receive the standard skin as well as the Mega Man X alternative style. Since skins tend to hit the Item Shop not long after they are given away in cups, players can expect Mega Man to become available on Wednesday or Thursday.<\/p>\n To get Mega Man for free, players must be among the top-rated participants in their region.
