Just after Poco<\/b> launched its 2026 flagship offering to the Singapore market, the Xiaomi sub-brand is also adding its midrange alternative to round out the pack. Now, there\u2019s the Poco X8<\/b>, with several notable perks that help separate it from the chaff.<\/p>\nPoco X8\u2019s IP69K water resistance<\/h2>\n
The Poco X8 bets big on durability with its IP-rated resistances (yes, multiple ones). On it is IP66, IP68, IP69K<\/b>, which not only certifies it for continuous underwater immersion but also rated against high-pressure, high-temperature sprays.<\/p>\n
Taking advantage of its high durability is the newly added Underwater Mode<\/b>, a camera feature that enables correct-looking optical quality for photos taken below water level. Poco X8 combines Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2<\/b> and SGS-rated anti-drop certification, which Poco said can protect the display from direct drops of up to 3 metres<\/b>.<\/p>\n The rest of the phone is optimised like a midrange handset that milks every ounce of value within a budget. Its 6.83-inch display is an AMOLED<\/b> panel with 1.5K resolution and a maximum 120Hz refresh rate; the 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery has 67W wired<\/b> and 22.5W reverse charging; and it offers dual nano-SIM <\/b>support.
