Here\u2019s how it occurs:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, you need to <strong>increase your Infamy level<\/strong> by sabotaging the operations of the vampire boyars. Once a vampire lord has been angered enough, you\u2019ll receive a quest where you\u2019ll be able to eliminate them for good.<\/li>\n<li>When you fight and defeat a vampire lord&#8211;and assuming it\u2019s nighttime\/Coen is in vampire form&#8211;you\u2019ll be presented an option to drink their blood.<\/li>\n<li>If you drink their blood, you\u2019ll obtain their unique skill.<\/li>\n<li>This action also transports you to Anachora, also known as the <em>hell<\/em> for every damned vampiric soul.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure data-wp-interactive=\"core\/image\" data-wp-context=\"{ &quot;core&quot;: { &quot;image&quot;: { &quot;initialized&quot;: true } } }\" class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-ref-id=\"1876521\" data-wp-on--click=\"actions.core.image.showLightbox\" style=\"cursor: zoom-in\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/blood-of-dawnwalker-invite-vampires-anachora-1.jpg?w=636\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1876521\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Some vampire lords actually like being in hell.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"h-no-downsides-to-inviting-a-vampire\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">No downsides to inviting a vampire<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While you\u2019re in Anachora, you\u2019ll have a chat with the soul of the vampire boyar that you just defeated. Some might beg you to show mercy, while others are just happy staying in that nightmarish realm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through dialogue options, you can just tell your foe that you\u2019re \u201cinviting them in\u201d (or any statement of a similar effect). This causes their soul\/essence to meld with Coen\u2019s consciousness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the most part, their disembodied voices will just make snide remarks or warn you of dangers. It\u2019s like having someone going \u201ctsk tsk\u201d every now and then. It\u2019s not really as annoying at first glance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> The vampire boyars aren&#8217;t the only ones whose souls can be tied to yours. The second phase of the battle transitions to Anachora, where Brencis will transform into the Grotesque Ascendant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you already have the souls of Ambrus, Bakir, and\/or Xanthe, they\u2019ll periodically attack Brencis. You\u2019ll see Bakir\u2019s flying kicks, Ambrus\u2019 twirling slashes, and Xanthe\u2019s bloody whips, all hitting Brencis when the opportunity arises.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, yes, inviting a vampire in The Blood of Dawnwalker is really a good idea.
