[UPDATE: 3.25pm on Sept 5]\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The police and family of Seah Miang Hin have separately told AsiaOne that the 83-year-old senior has been found.<\/p>\n The police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of an 83-year-old man, Seah Miang Hin, who was last seen in Katong.<\/p>\n Police said on Friday (Sept 4) afternoon that Seah was last seen at Block 14 Haig Road at around noon.<\/p>\n The address is the location of Haig Road Market and Food Centre.<\/p>\n Speaking to AsiaOne on Saturday afternoon, Seah’s daughter, Deborah, said her father is believed to have dementia and suffers from high blood pressure, requiring him to take his medication regularly.<\/p>\n He was last seen wearing a red and white checked shirt with black pants.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to the family, he walks slowly with a shuffle and requires frequent rests in between walking.\u00a0<\/p>\n He responds to his full name and is known to frequent places around Tampines Central and Springfield Secondary School.<\/p>\n Deborah and her family, along with their friends, have been looking for him since yesterday afternoon with barely any rest.\u00a0<\/p>\n Anyone with information is urged to contact the police hotline at 1800-255-0000<\/a> or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg\/i-witness<\/a>.<\/p>\n All information will be kept strictly confidential.<\/p>\n [[nid:735166]]<\/p>\n editor@asiaone.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n [UPDATE: 3.25pm on Sept 5]\u00a0 The police and family of Seah Miang Hin have separately told AsiaOne that the 83-year-old senior has been found.
