Netflix has confirmed the casts for two major new series, while top actors circle fresh romantic and courtroom dramas. Here is our latest round-up of Korean drama casting news.<\/p>\n

The Shooter<\/h3>\n
Netflix has announced the cast for The Shooter<\/em>, the latest action series from A Shop for Killers<\/em><\/span> director Lee Kwon. The show will be led by Parasite<\/em><\/span> actress Lee Jung-eun and Kim Mu-yeol, who is basking in the global popularity of the Netflix hit Teach You a Lesson<\/em><\/span>.<\/div>\n

Lee will play Jeong Suk-ja, an elderly woman who picks up a gun decades after she last held one for the sake of her grandson, whom she raised while working alone in a restaurant. Suk-ja takes on the dangerous Chunghwa Group gang following an attack on him.<\/p>\n

Kim will appear as Seo Yeon-woo, a man who helps Suk-ja exact revenge against the Chunghwa Group. Lee and Kim previously worked together on Juvenile Justice<\/em><\/span>.<\/div>\n

Jung will portray Ha Do-woon, the successful son of a wealthy family whose brains and athletic prowess complement his good looks. Shin will play dentist Kang Chae-rin, who has always drawn attention for her beauty and never wanted for anything.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
