Now, there&#8217;s also word on its production codename: &#8220;Slumber Party.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Marvel typically sets up a production company for each of its major projects, and these can be named something referencing the project itself. (Marvel&#8217;s recent &#8220;Throttle Productions&#8221; is believed to be the team behind Ryan Gosling&#8217;s upcoming Ghost Rider, for example.) In the Marvel comics, Veil was a young member of the Avengers Academy, and Slumber Party certainly points to a youthful setting. It&#8217;s also the title of New Mutants #21, which introduced Warlock.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Marvel has been considering a standalone Young Avengers project for years, it is widely understood, with teases in several other MCU projects and an array of characters it could now include. Iman Vellani&#8217;s excellent Ms. Marvel was last seen trying to form a team with Hailee Steinfeld&#8217;s Kate Bishop, with Kathryn Newton&#8217;s Cassie Lang also in their sights to recruit. <\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Beyond these, it&#8217;s been years now since we checked in with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness&#8217;s America Chavez and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier&#8217;s Patriot. There&#8217;s also Ironheart&#8217;s Riri Williams, plus Agatha and Vision Quest&#8217;s Maximoff twins. Even Hulk has a son now, too.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">When might we hear more? Marvel will hold a dedicated &#8220;Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation&#8221; panel at New York Comic-Con on October 8, which seems like a great time to make some form of announcement.
