{"id":82012,"date":"2026-09-04T04:26:50","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T20:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=82012"},"modified":"2026-09-04T04:26:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T20:26:50","slug":"queenstown-hdb-lift-faeces-incident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=82012","title":{"rendered":"Queenstown HDB lift faeces incident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div xmlns:default=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\">\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">A wave of nausea hit <a class=\"text-primary-brand no-underline hover:underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stomp.sg\/trending-now\/which-black-and-white-you-want-queenstown-resident-gets-monochrome-form-vote-hdb-block-colours?ref=inline-article-9620128\" target=\"_blank\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"noopener\">Queenstown<\/a> resident Queena Ong when the lift door at her HDB block opened, revealing faeces smeared in a corner of the lift.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The 26-year-old content creator told Stomp that she was about to take the lift to her house at Block 160 Mei Ling Street on Aug 31 at around 11.30pm, when she was stopped by her neighbour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">He had told her to take another lift, which Ong initially thought was due to him \u201csensing something scary\u201d since it was the seventh lunar month, also known as the Hungry Ghost month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">After she probed him further, he said there was <a class=\"text-primary-brand no-underline hover:underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stomp.sg\/trending-now\/masseur-catches-client-leaving-faeces-massage-bed-man-reveals-bizarre-fetish-sometimes-i-take-public?ref=inline-article-9620128\" target=\"_blank\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"noopener\">faeces<\/a> in the lift.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cI CRACKED up, and I was honestly curious what it looked like and wanted to see it,\u201d Ong said, adding that her neighbour stopped her, warning her of the smell.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"my-lg md:my-xl\">\n<p><hr class=\"flex-1 border-grayscale-100 lg:hidden\"\/><span class=\"text-grayscale-400 text-14 leading-16 font-primary text-center lg:text-left p-sm\">Scroll to continue reading<\/span><\/p>\n<hr class=\"flex-1 border-grayscale-100 my-md\"\/>\n<hr class=\"my-md border-grayscale-100\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">She took another lift to get to her flat, but later went back to the lift lobby to \u201ccheck out the lift\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"lg:text-28 lg:leading-33.6px pt-md font-primary text-24 font-bold leading-1.2\">Hasn\u2019t taken lift in days<\/h2>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">In her <a class=\"text-primary-brand no-underline hover:underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@qweeeeenah\/video\/7680896330608200978\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TikTok post about the discovery,<\/a> the lift doors open to reveal a brown substance smeared in a corner of the lift.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cNo hate, I was genuinely curious what it looked like,\u201d she added in the post\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cMy reaction was honestly excited\u2026 and amused\u2026 but it SMELT HORRIBLE\u2026 like after the video I gagged,\u201d Ong told Stomp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cI haven\u2019t taken the lift for three days in fear I smell like it,\u201d Ong said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">When she pressed the lift button the next morning out of habit, the mess was cleared, and the smell was seemingly gone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">However, Ong said it would take another week for her to be comfortable using the lift agian.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Stomp has reached out to Tanjong Pagar Town Council for more information.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bg-primary-100 h-px border-0 mt-lg md:mt-xxl\"\/>\n<div class=\"flex flex-col gap-xl rounded-xl border border-primary-100 mt-lg md:mt-xxl\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stomp.sg\/assets\/stomp-comment-COLiWNMD.png\" alt=\"Stomp Comment\" class=\"absolute -mt-lg -ml-xs w-[203px] md:w-[255px]\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Have something to say?
