The hot summer is finally winding down in South Korea, but the K-drama industry will still bring the heat in September with a number of major series, including a steamy literary adaptation and a splashy political thriller.<\/p>\n

Here is what to watch over the coming month.<\/p>\n

1. Made in Korea season 2<\/h3>\n

One of last year\u2019s most high-profile dramas returns, with Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung reprising their roles in the big-budget period drama Made in Korea<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Hyun plays ambitious political operator Baek Ki-tae, who consolidated his grip on power throughout season one<\/span> and begins the second season as head of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA) during a period of massive political turmoil in South Korea.<\/div>\n
Jung stars as Jang Geon-young, the dogged prosecutor determined to take him down. Joining them this season is Bloodhounds<\/em><\/span> actor Woo Do-hwan in a new role.<\/div>\n
Woo Min-ho (Inside Men<\/em><\/span>) is once again at the helm, while Park Eun-gyo (The Silent Sea<\/em><\/span>) and Park Joon-suk (A Normal Family<\/em>) return as co-writers. (Disney+, September 9)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
