Embark Studios has shared a preliminary ARC Raiders<\/em><\/strong> content roadmap for the remainder of 2025. The near-future agenda includes new weapons, events, and quests, as well as another ARC Raiders<\/em> map, among multiple other novelties.<\/p>\n

Embark teased its post-launch plans for ARC Raiders<\/em> just ahead of the extraction shooter’s release. The Swedish developer committed to releasing several “bigger” patches in the final two months of 2025, promising a variety of new content, balancing changes, and fixes. While not many specifics were provided at the time, Embark Executive Producer Aleksander Grondal promised to share a concrete roadmap shortly following the game’s launch.<\/p>\n

\n ARC Raiders Adding New Map, Weapons, Events, and More by Year’s End

The studio has now made good on that promise, having released a preliminary content roadmap for the remainder of 2025. The agenda identifies two major updates in the form of North Line and Cold Snap, set to roll out in November and December, respectively. Both promise new ARC Raiders<\/em> quests and events, but only North Line is set to introduce an additional map. Called Stella Montis, the location will mark the game’s fifth map to date.<\/p>\n

Though the PvPvE dynamic is at the heart of what makes ARC Raiders<\/em> a compelling experience, additional maps could potentially enhance the appeal of the core formula and improve the game’s staying power. That train of thought may have contributed to Embark’s decision to prioritize the launch of Stella Montis while its extraction shooter is still in its early days. The November 2025 map update will also add new ARC machines: Matriarch and Shredder.<\/p>\n

Conversely, December’s Cold Snap patch will debut the Snowfall condition, Flickering Flames event, and a new Raider Deck\u2014the in-game jargon for battle passes. Another Expedition departure window will be part of the package as well, meaning December 2025 will mark the start of a new Expedition cycle. Independently of these two big updates, Embark has promised smaller content drops expanding ARC Raiders<\/em>‘ selection of map conditions, feats, trials, and cosmetics, among other features and elements.<\/p>\n

The preliminary 2025 content roadmap was shared just as ARC Raiders<\/em> received its first post-launch update on October 31. Identified by version number 1.000.006, the new build is almost entirely dedicated to bug fixes. It also temporarily disables the Codex virtual tracking feature while developers work on a fix for an issue that blocks some objective types from unlocking correctly. More ARC Raiders<\/em> hotfixes may arrive before the North Line update does.<\/p>\n
