Netflix’s extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6 <\/em>has come and gone, and fans the world over are sifting through all the details about the most anticipated game of 2026. Given Rockstar’s unusual move of debuting the footage on Netflix, many observers \u2014 us included! \u2014 weren’t totally sure about what to expect from the show, but it was a pretty straightforward gameplay deep-dive without any narration or commentary from developers.<\/p>\n

Back in June, when Rockstar revealed pricing and preorder details for the upcoming game, the company emphasized that the game is a “single-player experience.” Still, that hasn’t stopped people from speculating about whether Rockstar’s working on an all-new online game to launch sometime after GTA 6<\/em>, or whether the existing GTA Online<\/em> will expand to incorporate elements of the latest game, including locations and events inspired by the game. We know from financial leaks earlier this year that GTAO<\/em> continues to be a massive money-maker for Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive, so we expect they’ll want to keep that cash-machine humming.
