Netizens say five-minute waiting time is too long<\/h2>\n
The TikTok video has racked up more than 160,000, 11,000 reactions, and 600 comments.<\/p>\n
The comment that attracted the most reactions was humorous in nature but also poked fun at Singaporeans\u2019 tendency to always want more and better.<\/p>\n
\u201cFive minutes?! That\u2019s too long \u2013 totally unacceptable! As a Singaporean, 10 seconds MAXIMUM is the threshold,\u201d said one TikToker in jest. \u201cI agree\u2026 five minutes\u2026 too long!\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
One netizen, however, pointed out: \u201cWe complain five minutes too long, but when we go overseas, we queue for an hour and that is OK. Hehehehhe.\u201d<\/p>\n
Many agreed with Percius\u2019 assessment of Singapore\u2019s efficiency, though.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re right! For me as a Singaporean citizen, I\u2019m very proud of my home sweet home systems! Majulah Singapura!!!!\u201d proclaimed one user.<\/p>\n

Several netizens wished that more Singaporeans would be grateful for what they have.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m super proud to be Singaporean and I appreciate everything Singapore has given us! I just wished more Singaporeans were grateful,\u201d said the TikToker.<\/p>\n
\u201cSadly Singaporeans don\u2019t appreciate all these,\u201d said another, but the rebuttals came hard.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do, don\u2019t speak for others,\u201d said a Singaporean. \u201cJust you and your circle. The people I know are thankful here all the time and we start criticising the moment we are elsewhere,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n
A third user chimed in: \u201cI am full of complaints \u2014 a typical Singaporean. But efficiency in this country \u2014 it\u2019s something I am so proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n
Several user, however, claimed that Malaysia was superior, though they did not explicitly say it was more efficient.<\/p>\n
\u201cMalaysia more nicer bro,\u201d said one.<\/p>\n
A user, presumably a Singaporean, responded: \u201cAlways got this type one… dunno why cannot just zip it. When kena called out, your people will say Singaporeans just salty.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another said: \u201cWelcome to Malaysia if you wanna experience robbery and corruption!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, there were also expats who agreed with Percius.<\/p>\n
