A bus driver earned applause and praise from his passengers after he got out of his vehicle to scold drivers hogging the bus lane at Johor Bahru customs.<\/p>\n
The act was recorded and uploaded to Instagram in a now-viral video by user Jonathan Kang on Thursday (Aug 20).<\/p>\n
The video has since garnered over 9,000 likes and more than 326,000 views as of Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
In the video, the bus driver can be seen braving the rain, angrily approaching a group of cars that have stopped in the bus lane as they attempt to jump in the queue at customs.<\/p>\n
Still wearing his hot pink neck pillow, the driver walks up to one of the cars, rapping his knuckles on their driver-side window.<\/p>\n
He can be seen berating the drivers, possibly urging them to drive on.<\/p>\n
“This is a bus lane, but look at these cars, they’re blocking [traffic],” Kang, a passenger on the bus, said in a mix of Mandarin and English.<\/p>\n
“But look at our driver – he immediately got off the bus and began chasing them away!”<\/p>\n
Another passenger quipped: “He’s being a traffic policeman.”<\/p>\n
As the bus driver re-enters the vehicle, he’s met with applause from his passengers.<\/p>\n
