At one point, she remarked alarmingly: \u201cIf I die in Malaysia, everyone will die together.\u201d<\/p>\n
The incident happened on August 18 and attracted a number of onlookers, while the clip of the incident later went viral online.<\/p>\n
Police investigations later found that the individual was a 27-year-old Chinese woman who is believed to have a mental health condition. She had arrived in Malaysia with a friend as a tourist on August 6 and was supposed to fly back to China on August 18.<\/p>\n
Police also confirmed that she was not under the influence of drugs.<\/p>\n
According to her friend, the woman had forgotten to take the medication prescribed by her doctor, which may have contributed to her erratic behaviour.<\/p>\n
Authorities suspect that it may have contributed to her behaviour at the airport, although they did not confirm that it was the definite cause.<\/p>\n
She was later taken to Kajang Hospital in Malaysia, where she was admitted to a psychiatric ward for further treatment. Her condition is now stable, and she remains warded. The Chinese Embassy in Malaysia has also been informed of the incident.<\/p>\n
While her outburst may have been shocking to those around her, the woman\u2019s case also serves as a reminder that there may be more to a situation than what is captured in a short viral video.<\/p>\n
