In a press release provided to the media, the streamer teased an \u201cepic conclusion production announcement\u201d for the show, which IGN was able to confirm meant the eventual release of a third season.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Netflix told us that Season 3 will serve as the final conclusion for the series, tying up Mizu\u2019s dramatic journey for good.<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"box-wrapper jsx-2673806401\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"jsx-313219616\"><img alt=\"\" aria-hidden=\"true\" decoding=\"async\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"progressive-image article-image article-image-full-size jsx-1809694635 jsx-2338608387\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" data-cy=\"progressive-image\"\/><figcaption data-cy=\"caption\" class=\"caption jsx-1762799490 jsx-479945570 article-image-caption\">Image Credits: Netflix<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><\/output><\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 was <u>first confirmed<\/u> in December 2023, with co-creators Amber Noizumi and Michael Green releasing a joint statement excitedly revealing the news.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">&#8220;When we started this project, we made a commitment to take this very personal story set in Edo-period Japan and bring it to life in the most authentic and beautiful way possible. Our animators, historians, musicians, martial artists and voice cast made this a reality beyond our expectations,&#8221; they said.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">&#8220;We are thankful to our entire team and to our viewers from all over the world who have shown such passion for Mizu and her path of revenge.
