A handful of\u00a0metal\u00a0guitarists even play head-banging music with her cat designs\u00a0on their guitars \u2013 sometimes ironically, and sometimes, simply because they love cats, said Becker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">What started as a personal project grew into a side hustle and then\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">ThreeStools<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Today, Becker has sold more than 1,000 pickguards to customers from as far as the\u00a0United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Brazil and Argentina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u201cPeople are, like, you have to go into STEM, law, medicine \u2013 that\u2019s the only way to get money. If you\u2019re following any art career in Singapore, you\u2019ll just be like a starving artist,\u201d Becker said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">She wants to prove them wrong.
