A Foodpanda delivery bag is seen secured to the back of his motorcycle.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"my-lg md:my-xl\">\n<p><hr class=\"flex-1 border-grayscale-100 lg:hidden\"\/><span class=\"text-grayscale-400 text-14 leading-16 font-primary text-center lg:text-left p-sm\">Scroll to continue reading<\/span><\/p>\n<hr class=\"flex-1 border-grayscale-100 my-md\"\/>\n<hr class=\"my-md border-grayscale-100\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Seemingly having little time to react, the rider <a class=\"text-primary-brand no-underline hover:underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stomp.sg\/trending-now\/cyclist-left-sprawling-carpark-after-purportedly-getting-hit-car-netizens-unconvinced-about-vehicles?ref=inline-article-9532285\" target=\"_blank\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"noopener\">crashes into the side<\/a> of the BMW before falling onto the road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The BMW driver later opens his door and gets out of the car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cEverything happened within seconds,\u201d DL said. \u201cWatching it happen right in front of me was frightening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cOn a busy road, one sudden move across several lanes can leave another road user with almost no time to react.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The Stomper said the incident was a reminder to motorists not to make risky manoeuvres after missing a turn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cIf you miss a turn, just continue ahead and find another safe route,\u201d he said. \u201cNo turn or shortcut is worth putting yourself or another road user in danger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cPlease drive and ride safely. Everyone wants to get home safely.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"lg:text-28 lg:leading-33.6px pt-md font-primary text-24 font-bold leading-1.2\">Police investigating Zion Road collision<\/h2>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">In response to Stomp\u2019s queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle along Zion Road towards Hoot Kiam Road at about 3.50pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">A 35-year-old male motorcyclist was taken conscious to Singapore General Hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">\u201cA 62-year-old male car driver is assisting with police investigations,\u201d a police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-primary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bg-primary-100 h-px border-0 mt-lg md:mt-xxl\"\/>\n<div class=\"flex flex-col gap-xl rounded-xl border border-primary-100 mt-lg md:mt-xxl\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stomp.sg\/assets\/stomp-comment-COLiWNMD.png\" alt=\"Stomp Comment\" class=\"absolute -mt-lg -ml-xs w-[203px] md:w-[255px]\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Have something to say?
