Typically, premium smartphones from various Android brands get all the attention and marketing dollars with months of buildup to their launch. Xiaomi has decided to give that attention to its upcoming mid-range Android phone, the Redmi Note 17 series<\/b>.<\/p>\n

However, the bigger draw is that the Redmi Note 17 series will pack a 10,000mAh<\/b> battery, making its long-running lineup matching the capacity of power banks on the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The company added that the battery uses a silicon-carbon<\/b> chemical blend and is rated for 1,600 charging cycles<\/b> with more than 80% retention. For example, it also cited IP68 r<\/b>esistance against dust and water starting as early as the Redmi Note 13 series, and the introduction of a new \u201cRedmi Titan Quality<\/b>\u201d philosophy towards their mid-range smartphones.<\/p>\nUnfortunately, Xiaomi did not reveal when this powerbank-sized Android phone would arrive, but we suspect it won\u2019t take long if it\u2019s already telling people about its 10,000mAh capacity now.<\/s><\/p>\n
