But a chilli crab shell? That’s a first.<\/p>\n
Local seafood restaurant Kelly Jie Seafood recently shared on Instagram that Chinese actor Michael Chen, aka Chen He, had visited its Toa Payoh outlet on Wednesday (Aug 12).<\/p>\n
“Literally just saw Chen He and his family exploring Singapore on my feed this afternoon, and the next second\u2026 he showed up at Kelly Jie Seafood!” gushed the admin. “How did we get this lucky?!”<\/p>\n
Earlier that day, the 40-year-old actor had been spotted at Merlion Park with his wife, Chinese actress Zhang Zixuan, 42, and their two daughters, aged 10 and six.<\/p>\n
According to the restaurant, Chen He was “exactly like how you’d see him on variety shows, always smiling and so cheerful”.<\/p>\n
He was also accompanied by Chinese actor and host Zhu Zhen.<\/p>\n
“The celebrity aura from the two of them was insane. They were both so so nice and friendly,” the admin continued to gush.<\/p>\n
But the best part came before they left.<\/p>\n
Instead of signing the usual piece of paper or memorabilia, the stars autographed chilli crab shells \u2014 presumably from the crabs they’d just eaten.<\/p>\n
“Happy, ha ha ha,” wrote Chen He, adding several tiny hearts to his shell.<\/p>\n
Honestly, that’s one autograph you probably wouldn’t want to throw away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
