Now that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is officially out in the wild, dataminers have wasted no time digging through the game\u2019s files, and they\u2019ve found some interesting heroes mentioned within them.<\/p>\n
Marvel\u2019s latest fighting game has had quite a week. After stuttering issues plagued the PC version upon launch, Arc System Works was quick to implement a fix<\/u>, turning the tide of public opinion from dismal to delighted. <\/p>\n
Many blamed these PC problems on Arc System Works\u2019 anti-datamining measures, which seem to have paid off; one reputable source<\/u> claimed they couldn\u2019t find much, crediting the developer for their efforts in \u2018cleaning up\u2019 the game\u2019s data. In other comments, they said they haven\u2019t come across anything new regarding upcoming costumes or DLC spoilers<\/u> \u2014 but they did mention that they\u2019ve seen assets for a future battle pass, and warned players to \u201cget ready\u201d for what\u2019s next. <\/p>\n btw, there’s not much to datamine out of tokon in terms of unreleased content (thank god). arcsys has gotten really good about cleaning up in the last few years<\/p>\n the one thing i did find is battle pass assets, so uh. get ready lol<\/p>\n \u2014 Ryn \ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\u26a7\ufe0f (@WistfulHopes) August 11, 2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Notable datamining group X0XLEAK also chimed in with some discoveries, specifically mentioning five heroes<\/u> they supposedly discovered during their excursion into Tokon\u2019s files: Doctor Strange, Wasp, Gambit, The Thing, and Daredevil.<\/p>\n Their post also mentioned that these are “possible prototype\/future characters” that are \u201csubject to change,” adding more confusion and speculation onto the subject. Given their description as potential prototype or DLC characters, it stands to reason that these aren’t background assets, like some of the nonplayable heroes we’ve seen dotting Tokon’s various stages.<\/p>\n Whatever the case may be, the mere mention of these names in Tokon\u2019s data has stirred up a heated discussion on social media.
