But maybe people who\u2019ve lived here their whole lives wouldn\u2019t notice it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">That sense of rediscovery \u2013 seeing home through fresh eyes after time away \u2013 is at the heart of Ho\u2019s new exhibition, \u201c100 Corners of Hong Kong\u201d, at Ztoryhome in Sai Ying Pun. Open until August 23, the show brings together 100 of Ho\u2019s illustrations of the city, roughly half of them created in the past few months, alongside older works spanning more than a decade.<\/p>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">It marks an emotional return for the illustrator, who has spent the past four years living in Yokohama, Japan. Mostly known for his warm and playful picture books and <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">Instagram posts<\/span>, Ho moved to Yokohama to study and further his craft. The distance, he says, has changed how he sees the city where he grew up.<\/div>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cEvery time I come back, Hong Kong feels so exciting,\u201d he says. \u201cThere\u2019s a strange sense of looking at it like a foreigner, from a different angle.
