--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1080\/1364;\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-753201\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Singapura Channel on Facebook<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>1 person sent to hospital: SCDF<\/h3>\n<p>In response to queries from <em>MS News<\/em>, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at about 8.50am on 2 Aug.<\/p>\n<p>The incident took place along Hougang Avenue 4, it added.<\/p>\n<p>One person was conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital as a result.<\/p>\n<p><em>MS News<\/em> has reached out to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for more information.<\/p>\n<h3>Bus captain applied emergency brakes to avoid collision with car<\/h3>\n<p>SBS Transit spokesperson Grace Wu told <em>MS News<\/em> that the incident happened when service 329 was making a right turn at the junction of Hougang Avenue 9 and Hougang Avenue 4, with the traffic light in its favour.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<iframe id=\"answers-client-6a78ce576c9ef\" class=\"answers-client\" src=\"\" height=\"500\" loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>However, a car travelling in the opposite direction suddenly entered its path.<\/p>\n<p>This forced the bus captain to immediately apply the emergency brakes to avoid a collision with the car, she said.<\/p>\n<h3>3 passengers injured, 1 sent to hospital<\/h3>\n<p>Unfortunately, three passengers sustained injuries during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>One of them was conveyed to hospital for medical attention, and subsequently received outpatient treatment<\/p>\n<p>The other declined to be sent to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The other passengers were transferred to another bus to continue their journeys, Mrs Wu said, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We wish the injured passengers a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Also read: <a href=\"https:\/\/mustsharenews.com\/5-injured-accident-woodlands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">5 people conveyed to hospital after accident involving car &amp;
