Later at another noted spot, L\u2019Orillon, there it was again, the electric-green liqueur arriving at tables all around.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">This was the city that, some 25 years ago, put natural wine bars on the map. Today those same bars have a new obsession: a digestif made by monks for the past 300 years.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cEverybody knows Chartreuse,\u201d says Louis Renauld, co-owner of 228 Litres and Cave Pigalle next door.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">He estimates it is \u201ctwo or three times more famous\u201d than it was four years ago.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cWe see a lot of tourists just stopping by to take pictures in front of the bottles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">La Cave des Papilles, Le Saint Sebastien and Cave Pur Jus are among the other natural wine venues and retailers pouring Chartreuse.
