As she celebrates the 40th anniversary of her film and TV debuts this year, Korean actress Kim Hye-soo is once again drawing attention with a scintillating turn in the summer surprise The Affair Was Just the Beginning<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This colourful tale of marital infidelity and unintended criminality also stars Kim Ji-hoon (The Haunted Palace<\/em><\/span>) and Cho Yeo-jeong (Parasite<\/em><\/span>), who both excel in their roles.<\/div>\n

Kim Hye-soo and Kim Ji-hoon appear as Park Kyung-hee and Lim Jae-hong, a married couple with a baby girl living in a basement apartment prone to flooding.<\/p>\n

They promise to pull themselves out of their economic hole. An ensuing montage shows how Kyung-hee turns their unfortunate living situation into a successful social media career focused on home improvement, chronicling their ascent up the Korean social ladder towards influencer stardom and their very own town house, which they share with their now teenage daughter Lim Ye-ji (Jeon Si-hyun).<\/p>\n
