Some are raised high, illuminating a clear path through the structure, while others hang low, obscuring the way forward.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">A cord dangles from the ceiling. Pulling it triggers both sound and movement as the panels slide up and down, exposing new paths in the labyrinth and sealing off others.<\/p>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">This kinetic installation is the brainchild of Thai artist Wit Pimkanchanapong. Born in Bangkok in 1976, Wit studied architecture at the city\u2019s Chulalongkorn University before earning a master\u2019s in visual communication in the UK. He has spent decades exploring what he calls \u201csoft architecture\u201d \u2013 a practice focused on <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">fluid, temporary structures<\/span> that interact with their environment and the people within them.<\/div>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cInfinite Maze 189\u201d is the latest iteration of an ongoing series.
