Forget Gardens By The Bay or chilli crab<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Japanese-American singer Mika Hashizume<\/a> had one very unusual item on his Singapore itinerary: washing his hair.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the 27-year-old shared a series of photos from his visit on Xiaohongshu with the cheeky caption: “Went to Singapore to wash my hair!”<\/p>\n

No, he didn’t book himself a salon appointment.<\/p>\n

Instead, he headed to Merlion Park<\/a>, where he joined countless tourists in using a little forced perspective to snap some creative pics.<\/p>\n

Hey, when in Singapore…<\/p>\n

In one photo, he appears to be washing his hair under the Merlion<\/a>‘s water stream. In another, he’s \u201cdrinking\u201d from it.<\/p>\n

He also held out his hands to “receive good luck”.<\/p>\n

Beyond Merlion Park, Mika also explored Arab Street and Kampong Glam, snapping selfies with the Sultan Mosque and colourful murals.<\/p>\n

Of course, no Singapore visit is complete without indulging in some local fare too.<\/p>\n

In his post, Mika revealed that after filming the previous evening, he tucked into thunder tea rice, curry rice and satay.<\/p>\n

Though he was already full by then, the satay proved too tempting to resist.<\/p>\n

“I was already full, but I still ended up eating a lot of their barbecue skewers anyway because it was just so good,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

Looks like Singapore managed to leave him with a full stomach, freshly “washed” hair, and perhaps even a little extra good luck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
