Another claimed that workers resting beneath HDB blocks prevented children from using those spaces to play.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow napping under the blocks \u2014 young children are deprived of using these spaces under their own home. I have heard children sigh when they can\u2019t play,\u201d said the netizen.<\/p>\n
However, others disagreed, arguing that the workers\u2019 lunch breaks were brief.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir rest period is so short, they can\u2019t deprive anyone. As parents you should educate your kids to have sympathy for them,\u201d said one.<\/p>\n
Another added: \u201cIf I am the kids\u2019 parents, I will teach my kids to let the workers rest first, then they can play after the workers resume work.\u201d<\/p>\n
Not every comment was serious, though.<\/p>\n
