{"id":73259,"date":"2026-08-01T01:07:48","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T17:07:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=73259"},"modified":"2026-08-01T01:07:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T17:07:48","slug":"man-to-be-charged-for-brandishing-knife-in-singapore-dispute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=73259","title":{"rendered":"Man to be charged for brandishing knife in Singapore dispute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 <!-- -->A 21-year-old man<!-- --> <!-- -->is slated to be charged in court on Aug 1 after he allegedly waved a 40cm-long knife in a dispute with three other people.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In a statement on July 31, the police said they were alerted to a dispute in Selegie Road on July 27 at 4.48am involving a man seen holding a rod-like object.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Preliminary investigations showed that the man had hidden<!-- --> <!-- -->a 40cm knife under the back of his shirt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">He then confronted three other people<!-- --> <!-- -->and allegedly brandished the knife at them before leaving the scene.
